Senator Bong Go: COVID-19 vaccines will soon complete the production

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - According to Senator Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Tesoro Go the Philippines cooperated with the United States and Russia for the development of the vaccine against COVID-19, the said vaccine is already underway.

The good news is According to Sen. Bong Go, the Senate committee on health and demography chairman, wrote to him by Russian federation ambassador Igor Khovaev and said that they will soon complete the production of COVID-19 vaccines.

It is said that the clinical trials of the Russian vaccine have reached phase 3.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA - Russia said and according to them it aims to launch mass production of a COVID-19 vaccine next month and turn out "several million" doses per month by next year.

According to the news also, the country is pushing ahead with several vaccine prototypes and one prepared at the Gamaleya institute in Moscow, Rusia has reached advanced stages of development it. 

What is Gamaleya's vaccine?

 According to the definition Gamaleya's vaccine is a so-called viral vector vaccine, and meaning it employs another virus to carry the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) encoding of the needed immune response into cells.

The Gamaleya's vaccine is also employs the adenovirus, it is a similar technology to the COVID-19 vaccine prototype developed by China's CanSino, currently in the advanced stage of clinical trials.

Senator Bong Go also said there are offers three things for the Philippines:

• A. First, they said they wanted to conduct clinical trials here in our country in the Philippines.
• B. They will also supply this vaccine, 
• C. They will set up local manufacturing in our country Philippines.

Another good news, Senator Bong Go also mentioned that the Philippine ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel Romualdez confirmed that United States (US) Secretary of State Mike Pompeo encouraged him to meet with 2 vaccine manufacturers.

Senator Bong Go, Added the statement and he said, the date of the meeting with vaccine manufacturers is being adjusted.

Finally, there will be a vaccines develop, vaccines this is the only way to stop the spread of COVID-19, many people around the world are hoping to have a vaccine this year before the end.

Hopefully, the so-called vaccines will be released by Russia, United States, and China will work.
