President Duterte to PhilHealth: Even if you help me in the election, I will still hold you accountable, there is no talk that you will contribute to me after you are corrupt

President Rodrigo Duterte warned those he did not name individually and at the same time formed a task force to investigate the alleged corporation.

President Rodrigo Duterte warns of corruption allegations against Philippine Health Insurance Corporation or PhilHealth. 

"Make no mistake, this PhilHealth, I said I will finish you, believe me, you innocent people have nothing to fear, just be quiet and continue working, "Nakalusot kayo sa nagdaang presidenti, sa akin sasadsad kayo" the president Duterte said. 

The president did not mention any name but he has formed a task force to investigate it. The task force join by Department of Justice (DOJ), the Commission on Audit (COA) and the Ombudsman. This is being formed.

The president said he did not care who you were even if he helped him in the election he would be held accountable if he was found guilty of corruption.

In Commission on Audit the president get the true figure. 

Former PhilHhealth president and CEO Ret.General Ricardo Morales is a former general. The Palace said the president will only wait for the result of the investigation before taking action against Morales.

According to Presidential Spokeperson Harry Roque, "the president says he knows as a noble soldier this General Morales, he wants to see the evidence, he is consistent so he will wait for the result of the investigation of the task force he formed. 

The investigation by PhilHealh officials involved in corruption is still in the senate, except for the senate. President Duterte also tasked the task force to investigate.

Many senators have said that PhilHealth CEO and President Morales must resign, but if the palace is to be questioned, the president still trusts Moralis because President Duterte recognized him as a good soldier.

Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) Commissioner Greco Belgica is convinced that PhilHealth can be free from corruption in just 6 months, he said that statement.

According to Belgica, there are Information Technology (IT) solutions in the government and private sector that are willing to help PhilHealth fix their IT system for free.

Belgica had earlier said that some employees were able to manipulate the agency transaction due to its lack of validation mechanism.

Belgica sees only two ways to keep the agency clean:

• 1. First and foremost is the removal of corrupt officials
•  2. Changes in the system 

Belgica also added the statement, and according to him, "the cleanup we want at PhilHealth can not only be removed by the president, only the board will be removed because they are not the only ones involved. There are regional officers who are the ones who do not disburse money, they are talked to by the hospitals. 

If only the president is removed from office and it is not followed by an investigation, he said, the result will be the same. Get rid of the people below, you can start an investigation and fix the system.

Although the senator of the Philippines Senator. Richard Gordon, he is also questioned the zero prosecution record of the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) amid all the corruption allegations the agency is currently facing.
